Another birthday over.

Today it was my aunt´s birthday. She wanted to go to the seashore to eat fish. And so we went. The trip was wonderful as my cousin Carlos was in charge of the music ( only from the 60s, only music that I new the lyrics and could sing with it) and the countryside was beautiful. We reached a little place by the sea called Bucalemu and there we went to a small but delicious restaurant. I went to choose the wine (pleaded to everyone to drink red wine in spite of eating fish) and got a Viu Manent, Gran Reserva, Carmenere, 2015. We asked first for a plate of abalone and as there were 4 in the plate each of us got one. Awesome! Then Juanita ordered a King Crab pie and we got fried fish. Carlos and my aunt had conger eel and I preferred Chilean bass. We had dessert and then we were offered a drink from the house. I had Amaretto. Later on, we drove to different beaches nearby and checked the disasters made by the 2010 earthquake there. I keep forgetting that the earth changes a bit or more than a bit with each earthquake. I notice it more when I go to Valdivia. There you can see the changes produced by the great cataclism in 1960. We walked, went to another small place for a cup of tea and returned home. And even if I´m having fun, I do remember you, dear lotters. And I am specially worried about the friends who live in Florida. Please, post how are you doing.

Aw...you do not have to feel guilty about it...because somebody somewhere is always suffering...and yes, earth changes..regularly. In fact change is the only constant we all have. Permanence would stink. People in florida, at least parts of it, seem relieved.

So happy you had a wonderful day and to top it all off music from the 60's. Who could ask for more?
