Have you tried using Friendster before?

Friendster was the most popular social media site when I was in high school. I am one of those people who was into it years ago. On friendster, you can choose different profile designs, either it is animated or not, you can also use your own pictures if you want. You can add songs that will automatically play when someone views your profile, upload your photos, and one of the best feature I guess was a section where you can see the people who viewed your profile. Many got addicted to it, including me, that is why I got sad when the site suddenly disappeared. How about you? Did you have an account on Friendster? How will you compare it to other social media site now?

@anorona I have friendster before, and I love doing html on that site, hehe but it's gone now because facebook is better

Yes that is true, Facebook took the spotlight and up to now they are still on top. I am just wondering what Friendster would look like now if they manage to sustain the site.

It is like Facebook too, the difference is that profile page on Friendster can be costumized. :)

Yes I had an account before. It was fun to get testimonials. Haha. Those were the days.

Yeah it was called testimonials where friend will tell something about yourself, how you are as a friend or simply giving message to you. :)

I think many have not tried it. If I am not mistaken, it is almost a decade now since their site suddenly disappeared.

Hmm. Where did it go? I never heard of friendster but it sounds a bit like instagram or myspace.

I had a Friendster account before.. It was nice at that time but I like Facebook better :-)
