Serious Weather is Noteworthy!

Seems ever since the total solar eclipse that blacked out a path across the U.S. things have been revving up in the disaster department. Hurricanes hitting the State of Texas and now Irma- devastating- not only Florida but Cuba, and many islands. And still more huge hurricanes are out there and I pray they stay in the ocean. After a record high Fire Season in both California and British Columbia, etc. the bad news has not really relented. The human spirit is steadfast and always bounces back though. Seeing how we help each other in crises does hearten me- it has been a bad couple of months. Actually, this whole year has been strange with cooler than usual temps in places and hotter in other places. Plus more than average rainfall. Lets hope and pray that the run of serious and dangerous weather comes to an end very soon! Photo by Pixabay Free Images

It has been a very crazy year for Mother Nature! But I like what you said about human spirit. I have noticed in the aftermath of all these devastating weather events that people are stepping up to help each other at unprecedented levels. People have been complaining that we have lost our way, but when I look around and see so many people reaching out to help their fellow man, I realize that there is still a lot of hope left in this world! The human spirit will prevail!

@MarymargII Unfortunately, I was affected a little bit by the hurricane, but not as bad as most people got it. Regardless, I count my blessings.

It also seems a particularly bad time right now- People are so resilient most of the time.

It would be nice to think it will, and I hope it does.

I was surprised that the Hurricane season had not seen hurricanes this year, they are all coming at the end of the season.

What does the recent solar eclipse have to do with these weather phenomena? Every time there is one, strange theories are discussed. I've seen three solar eclipses in my lifetime. No natural catastrophes followed them. Something must be done about global warming.

It's all in the timing. The catastrophes seemed to follow in its heels. The lineup of severe and threatening hurricanes are not a regular situation and it's attention catching.
