Sitting at the desk!

I have been very bad and I have not been sitting at my desk. I have a desktop computer, I have not been using it because I lost the mouse and we just didn't get a new until like a few days ago. I cleaned the computer and decided to start using it. Mostly with the fact that I noticed that I have been slouching a lot and it was really hurting my back. And before it got worse I decided to go Nope! and clean of my desk so I can sit in my computer chair and let my spine reline itself. Because I noticed I have been leaning to one side more than the other. I don't like sitting at my desk because I cannot have my feet up completely and if I don't drink enough water my feet swell if they are pointing down, so it is a tad annoying. But I am going to make sure I am going to get up and walk around more and also put my feet up when I need to. So welcome to being on my desktop, it is much easier to type on my keyboard instead of my laptop keyboard and I type much faster. And also my desktop is a bit faster than my laptop. So, that is another good thing.

I prefer my laptop instead of keyboard as i can put my feet up and relax laying in bed against some pillows. I do get what you mean about the back though and being in a computer chair. That could be part of my back issue also but i love my laptop and it's more convenient then a desktop.

@DesirousDreamer When I catch myself slouching i sit straight up with my legs out and laptop on my lap to stretch my back

@Blondie2222 I work on my laptop all day haha so there is no help than just slouching at random times.

Since i draw and write on my laptop, i end up slouching and that is destroying my back. I like how I can go anywhere with my laptop but it is also painful

It's hard to get used to desktop again, but eventually you will. My back hurts just at the thought of sitting on a chair.

@DesirousDreamer You need some sort of footstool that allows you to move your legs, I suppose.

@sabtraversa haha sadly, not possible with this desk or the area, it is a very small area.

It is important to make sure our posture is correct. Nice to hear that you have both laptop and desktop.

I have a slightly curved spine, I got it from my dad, so correct posture is actually impossible.
