Murder of this Tree continues

Philippines

Last month I've shared a post about putting down our Mango Tree that's been around for more than thirty years. The one who did this was just a woman who did it so fast. Along with her daughter, whom I helped dragging the branches and leaves out as we were continuously bitten by ants . But the work isn't done because this time she has some people with her, includes her husband. They also bought a power saw that will do the job. The cutting procedure was doing well as he cut the branch little by little. But few hours later, their saw malfunctioned and had to delay it again. I was extremely sad while this Tree is being murdered slowly. But I couldn't cry some how. If a huge tsunami ever happens to hit this place, I won't leave and accept my fate. Well, because I have destroyed the very tree that could save my life.
I hope no one get's offended by the post. For a while now we've been planning to get rid of this tree. Before we had our commercial space, we had two Narra tree...

@Letranknight2015 Oh I see. That is quite right to cut it down. There is no trees near my house. But if the tress brings us much troubles, then it is better to cut down.

Hello Mommy @jaiho2009 Were on the high ground, at least that's what they tell me. But in some parts of the neighborhood, we also experience floods because of the clog in the drainage system. I've seen people from the market throwing left over crap in the drainage hole.

@Letranknight2015 it's the main problem why Metro cities are experiencing floods these days. And people are blaming the government for this and that without knowing that it is them (undisciplined citizens) who are causing these problems.

@jaiho2009 There's just so many undisciplined people in the metro and that's why the flood won't end. To the point of the water pumps malfunction. Sadly, it's no different here.

@Letranknight2015 I'm sure it is. I remember when they cut down three trees when I just bought my house several years ago, and I had branches all over the back yard. Now the house is gone and I'm in an apartment.

It breaks my heart when I see a tree being cut! To think of environmental degradation and its effect on the weather is very disturbing.

Seeing more subdivisions in my neighborhood and lesser farms and trees already had shown some effect in our place @acelawrites

Was the tree sick then or a danger because of where it was? Here trees are not considered at all and sadly a huge amount are lost in forest fires. I love trees so I can feel the same way as you do too.
