Shopping, stocking up, and the night

When my got home from work, her and I decided to go use some of our points at KMART, even though they don't start expiring until the 20th. Because we're trying to stock up on household items, for the winter. Well, we ended up getting my boyfriends cats about 20 big cans of wet food. Then we got ourselves a 24pk of toilet paper, two 8pks of paper towels, and 16 small cans of wet cat food for our cat. Giving us five 8pks of paper towels, two 24pks of toilet paper, a 12pk of toilet paper and 4 extra rolls of TP so far. And we still have plenty more to buy in the next few weeks. Including more body wash and paper plates. After that we stopped to get dinner, and grabbed drinks at Dunkin Donuts. And when we got home, we got notifications that there was another Xtra Sweep on SYW. So we played those, and ended up winning alot of the points we just used back . Since then we've just been trying to catch up on our shows from Monday Night and last night.. which we did by three shows. But still have one show from last night, and now a show from tonight to watch. . But for now, those are on hold. As I'm so very tired, and my mom needs to go to bed for work tomorrow. So off to bed she goes, and off to go lay in bed while my boyfriend finishes exercising I go. Then hopefully I can sleep through the night *wishful thinking*. -- Hope you all had a nice day. And hope all is well with you and yours.. do you stock up on things for winter? Or anytime?

Sounds like a busy day! My daughter just ordered TP through Amazon - a case of 96 rolls. That'll last us a while, for sure. We just finished the last of the three cases she bought last year!

I don't stock up much, I usually have a large package of toilet paper on hand and paper towel but that is about it.MY pantry is pretty full and I don't have a place to store large quantities of supplies.

We stock ours in my moms walk in closet . We have to stock up, because my mom barely works in the winter.

Sounds like you had a great shopping trip. I stock up once a month on supplies when I do my big shopping trip. Glad you can use points for groceries.

I always stock up on paper towels and toilet paper whenever they are on sale. One of the things I never buy at regular price.

We bought them at regular price when we got them from family dollar, because their regular price was cheap not like other stores. But for over a year we've gotten them both at kmart for very little or nothing.

Thats good. Lucky. We have stores right behind the house, but we stock up because my moms hours drop in the winter.

Oh yes we do stock up things. When there are sales we try to buy more of the same items. This helps us to save some money

When I have coupons I use them all if it is something I need. At one time I had 50 shampoos that I got for a quarter each. I used coupons and points and had shampoo for a couple of years.

We use coupons too, but mostly at the grocery store. Kmart has there own coupons on the app, plus we usually don't pay much of anything there anyways.

I stock up on a few things. Like shampoo and hand soap. I always buy 2 or 3 so that I have them on hand. I do that with toothpaste, soups and paper goods. Need to start doing coupons again. You can really make your budget stretch.
