When do you take a risk and make changes

Too often, we do things because it's always been done that way. We don't want to burst the bubble. Are we afraid that it would be unpopular? It might make things better. We need the brave, ones ready to step out. What made me think about this was when recipes are handed down from generation to generation and no one changes the recipe, yet they have no idea why they are doing what they are doing. So why not put your thinking hat on and think of new ways to do things. Maybe it will make the process simpler.

I changed some of the things that my mother used to make but I never would have let her knew.

No problem has the same solution NOR does automatic thinking always apply -- I think people need to think less like a totalitarian and more like a middle grounder
