I'm exhausted. I'm stuffed from eating. I've been running around like a banshee. The forecast of rain isn't helping either. But no time for the weary. Yesterday, I got together with my childhood friend who lived up the street from me. I haven't seen her since junior high school. Currently she is living in Maine, but was visiting a friend from our hometown. We had a wonderful, long lunch and reminisced. Friday night I will see her and another male classmate. We are all getting together for dinner with our spouses at a great restaurant. Facebook has been very helpful reuniting us. I'm so grateful. Today, I had another fitting for the gown for my son's wedding. The seamstress did such a wonderful job, that I'm good to go. My husband loves it and celebrated by having an indulgent lunch. Then we had our flu shots. Don't want to be sick for the wedding. Saturday night is my future daughter-in-law's Bachelorette dinner and party. I wouldn't miss it for the world. Sunday is my son's bachelor dinner. I'm so thankful to sit down and relax right now. Photo credits: Buzzfeed

Well, as soon as I posted this, my brother called and we spoke for a long time. Then Doodles wanted his last walk. I just washed his bowls and fed him. Now I can relax until dinner is served by hubs!

Facebook does come in handy at times to help us re-connect with old friends with whom we have somehow lost contact. Remember, not to reward yourself too much as we would still want to fit in the dress. All the best on the bachelorette party Saturday night!

Facebook is wonderful for that, definitely! I'm thinner than when I first bought the dress, so no problems for me in that department, thank goodness. lol Many thanks. We're on a roll towards the Big Day now! I'm so excited!!!!

Where is that lovely photo Dianne? I am glad now that you found your classmates on Facebook..it is great! Alright glad the gown is perfect and yes flu shots are wise. You will have a lovely time at the bachelorette party too. Okay have a nice rest..I hate being stuffed lol

Seeing a childhood friend was as if the years dropped away. Tonight, the spouses will all meet and have a fun dinner. Actually, not much left to do for the wedding except the hospitality baskets, hair, and nails. lol

@DianneN We'll stop at every bar on the way if we have to! There's actually a great tiki bar in Islmorada in the Keys that I love going to, I only hope it is still there after all this! If not, we'll head all the way down to Key West and hit all the bars on Duval Street!

@fishtiger58 Just worked on the seating list and only had to make a couple of changes. My so and his fiancée have done such a marvelous job!!! I get excited about life in general. Yea I have never been one to mush up the numbers. my older sister however hasn't said her age aloud in probably 40 years, so I have to admit I take extreme delight in voicing it aloud for her. She calls me a biotch all in fun of course lol.
