I'm drinking disguised food and thinking

Look out world, she's thinking again. Can I say its Indian Summer weather or is that now not politically correct?
Cause it is. Jacket weather in the morning and shirt sleeves in the afternoon. Glorious. I'm guzzling my faux milk shake and thinking I am pleased that I got out into the sunshine and shoveled up dog 'stuff' from the front yard and also did some shoveling in the chicken coop. I'm letting the hens have a bit of time scratching around in the front yard.
What's in my faux milk shake? It might make some of you gag so look out. I find it quite tasty. Its almond milk and a rather ugly banana and fresh, sweet applesauce, a chunk of peanut butter and a chunk of tofu. The applesauce really sparks it up.
Sooner than later I must get myself up and working on chopping green pepper and mushrooms and onions. Hubby made pizza crust last night. I will saute these vegies in olive oil and crown the pizza crust with them and olive bits and jarred tomato sauce and finally a little cheese and cherry tomato slices. (Trying to use up cherry tomatoes from the garden.)
I hope you all are having a grand day, whatever you call it.

So far so good, I'm so very tickled that my furmily and I woke up alive, that really made my day. Now I just need some motivation to get more of the weeds cut then do some house work, the former is almost fun so I won't have a problem there but I hate cleaning house

@rebelann Nuh uh on hand tools and three hilly acres. I do enough hand yanking of weeds in the garden. I wish you well and a good back if you are not using a powered helper. I use a walk behind weed whacker- cheaper than a ride on mower and I can't use a ride on mower due to rocks and slope.

@andriaperry Me, too. I worry about all the preservatives in the store food. We have huge rocks and boulders that have to be pried out of the ground if we are to garden. Sure makes my bones yelp from the effort but worth it. Home tomatoes are more fruit than vegetable. It does feel good to have a hand in getting your own food. I mostly cook from scratch for that reason and use very little machines doing it. The blender is sometimes my third hand but no mixer for dough.
