It has been raining / myLot

for over two hours now. For awhile it did come down pretty but it did ease off. It wasn't very warm today and since it started raining the temperature really dropped. I was just sitting here and I kept seeing this light. I kept watching and nothing happened. I would look away and there it was again. Finally, I caught it. It is lightning over the Mesa and it isn't very bright. It looks like it is mainly on the other side of the mountain. Now the thunder is rolling in. So far it isn't the loud roaring thunder, just mellow as easy on the ears. I have been smelling rain for a few days but figured it would pass us by but it didn't. We did need some rain so it is a blessing. The lights have been flickering so I have the candles and flashlights ready.

After Irma coming through for three days I crave sunshine and dry days. I hope you get what you need there.

We got quite a bit last night and it started up again awhile ago. The rain needs to go where the fires are.

@toniganzon Very true. It is pretty chilly here tonight. I did get my heavier clothes out the other day so I can always change into something warmer if I have to.

I hope so too but I am prepared in case that does happen. We can never predict Mother Nature.
