*Her best friend is condescending!

This morning was the case colloquium of our level 3 nursing students. The presenters were my former group, who were also handled by Ms. CC, afternoon shift, in medical ward. Because the presenters gave our manuscripts ahead of time, I told my colleague Miss CC that we both will make the rotation quiz of 20 items, and exclude HER BEST FRIEND, because she, Miss DLM did the rotation quiz of the previous case presenters alone, and we were disregarded. So I did 10 items. Miss CC was seated between me and Miss DLM. When I and Miss CC were conversing, Miss DLM took the sheet of paper where I wrote the 10 item-quiz I prepared. Without a word, she started to write her own set of questions. I immediately talked to her, asked her what she is writing, and she said, “I will put my questions here”. I told her in a firm voice that, “it is our turn now, because you excluded us in the previous case presentation, so please give me back that sheet”. My, oh, my! Miss CC’s BEST FRIEND is really condescending. Although we should act professionally, there are some times that I have to show my disgust, because I can’t sugar-coat my emotions. By the way, her questions were: ‘what date was the client admitted? What were the initials of the client?’ Does it have something to do with the advancement of knowledge of the students? The case presented was Congestive Heart Failure.

It is good you were firm with her! How rude of her to just take the piece of paper and start writing her own questions when she could surely see you had written questions already!

Yes she was so proud to just take the sheet of paper from the chair where I was seated. I spoke to her without smiling to show my disgust for her actions.

@bluesa when she talks to me now, her voice is low and seemingly humble. but only to me because i can see how he comments on my other colleagues.

I hate people like this. When they talk, they talk as if they own the world.

@ridingbet Did you talk to her? I think she needs counselling in a way that she can accept her mistake.

She is a self - appointed clinical coordinator of another school of nursing. That is how she acts now

@jobelbojel no she does not need any piece of advice from any of us. she even jokes impertinently like asking Miss CC about her ID when CC has her ID in her bag. she cannot do that to me because she will hear the most disgusting words from me. hahaha!

That is true. We have to be honest with our feelings.

So, what did she do? It was clear that she was out of her league doing that. Either she envies something or just wants to get attention.

We believe her condition worsened ever since she had the accident. Previously, she was already having the attitude. "Grumabe pa".
