Good morning everyone, I hope you slept well and are doing great today.
Thank you @moffittjc for suggesting a new church for us to try. We are going to go on Sunday and see if we like it there, I hope we do! I'm a little nervous since we went to our old church for 3 years but I'm excited too. =)
Last night my husband and I listened to a sermon through their app and we loved it! God definitely spoke to us through the message so we are excited!
When one door closes another opens.
Are you ever nervous and excited when trying something new?

Maybe it's a blessing is disguise that your son had problems at your church and now you found another one through a fellow myLotter. Hope it all works out for you

Since we just recently changed churches, I understand the nervousness. But if you took time to listen to one of the sermons and was happy with it, and felt encouraged then it must be of your best interest to attend there. Nothing will hurt to go check it out once and then go from there.

I know it's silly, but when at a new church I worry about being dressed right. It used to be that most people dressed their best in Sundays, but now so many people go in regular clothes, even shorts.

@AmbiePam My son was treated badly and ended up in tears after Bible study class-twice. We got tired of it.

I've tried new things too many times to be nervous. I think the most nervous I have been was getting on a plain and moving to Hawaii as a newlywed - that's a long way from home - I survived and never looked back. I love new that's why we move frequently - I like the adventure. You'll be fine.

Yes, I am! I think it is human nature. I once went to a church I really liked in State College PA. The minister left to go to another church..and it was never the same after that.
