Cellphone signal reception problem

This is a new phone and not the one I'm using right now to post here. This was not yet openline and came from abroad. I haven't use it yet for calls since it was not yet able to till i has it been open line. Anyway i spent $10 to have it openline. When I put my sim card it had problem getting signal ay first. When it has signal already i tried to go online using mobile data but it can't connect. There's a few times it did but after it did or was able to browse online at least once, the connection got lost immediately also. Never tried it for calls yet. Since i have yet to buy a credit or load to make calls. I'll do that tomorrow. If amaking calls would not connect then the problem would be the signal antenna. I was hoping this be my phone now since it's lte. I was hoping to use it to browse much faster. So I'm back to my 3g. And it connects very fast using this lte sim though it's just connection with 3g since my original phone isn't lte capable.
