Another day....

How are you all doing? I just got back from a long walk. I was talking to one of the girls at work and she told me that another girl quit so they are anxious for me to get back to work. Also another one of my former coworkers and friend had a heart attack on the weekend. They are doing the dye test today to check for blockages and if all goes well she should be home tomorrow. She suffered an aneurysm a few years ago and it affected her short term memory so she was never able to come back to work. They hired two new girls at work so big changes when I return. Sounds like there is going to be a lot of stress there when i go back. My boss wants me to go back now but I can't go until I get medical clearance to do so. I see my doctor next week so she can give me the good ahead then or tell me an exact date. The cardiologist had said mid October so we will see.

I hope things go well when you get back to work. The stress part doesn't sound good.

I am not looking forward to that part. My boss doesn't handle stress well and it has an affect on everybody else.

Follow your doctor's advice and don't let the boss put pressure on you for returning to work sooner.

That sounds like a high stress workplace. I'm sure that they need you back for stability and maybe for training the new girls. Listen to your doctor and don't push your date, you don't want a relapse, you've come too far for that.

Those sound like difficult circumstances to return to. I hope your doctor shows best judgement in recommending your return date. Surely the stress would be hard on you. Take care of yourself..

Thanks...they know I work in a stressful environment so that is why they want me to wait until mid October. I may go back part time at first just to adjust.
