I just found out that one of my former sales persons is in the hospital and not doing well at all. I was her manager in the jewelry business I ran.
Another former sales person that was on my sales team called me to tell me, because she thought I might not know, which I didn’t.
Seems as though what has happened is that she had her gall bladder removed and then probably at the hospital contracted sepsis and now she has a severe lung infection.
I’ve heard of this several times before, that during or following surgery, a person can be exposed to bacteria that was on the instruments or the tubes that are put down a person’s throat during surgery. These instruments and tubes are not properly sanitized.
My oldest son’s mother-in-law died from sepsis following a hospital stay and my husband’s sister also died following a broken leg surgery.
This does not sound good at all. She’s in intensive care and cannot have visitors, but I won’t go to a hospital anyway. I stay far away because I know it’s a very unhealthy place to be, for a lot of reasons. And I certainly don’t need to expose myself to any of that.
I’m keeping in touch with her husband, who is very distraught.

Hospitals are NOT clean and those who are responsible for cleaning are negligent.

I will be checking on her today by means of a phone call to her husband. I'm hoping that she is better.

After my dad caught Sepsis I thought it was the end for him, but he is still with us. You can always pray for this lady and keep in touch. I pray she will pull through. I am always very paranoid in hospitals now as my Mum had MRSA after having her gall bladder removed.

I'm so happy your dad survived that. I am praying for her every day. MRSA is also a HUGE problem in hospitals. YES. I hope you mum is OK too.
