It is 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon here. One hour more and we will be going home. There is no traffic now because as I can see few vehicles are on the road. Maybe because the drivers knew already that lots of people are out and joined the protests or rallies in Luneta Park or in Mendiola near the President's place. Few students and employees reported for work and I think it is not difficult in getting a ride later. At 5:00, I'll be off here in mylot too. So see you again tomorrow. Have a nice morning on the other side of the world.

I am wondering why this day was declared a Holiday , when it's the day when Martial Law was declared. It should have been not declared a holiday because it's not something good to remember.

Actually, it was not declared as holiday. The President said that it is a day of protest. It is no work no pay for employees in the private companies.

Nobody would want to be on the road when there's a protest going on. Too much consumption on your gas and patience while it's scourging hot.

That's true.. So it's better to stay at home if there's nothing important to do outside...

@magallon , I had not heard about the giant fishes, but with how disturbed the world is, the poor creatures in the sea are suffering from it too.

Yes it would be inconvenient but it's important to remind Filipinos that never again would we allow a dictator to rule us, ( for foreign readers today is the 45th anniversary of The declaration of martial rule in the Philppines) It seems that some dark forces are working to bring it back
