Surgery Postponed

Well now that I have let my family and work know, surgery has been postponed until October. After going thru the 3 hour preop and everything ugh, i hope i don't have to go thru it again.
When we went to my preop appointment on Friday we found out they scheduled me with the wrong doctor. We then called my Cardiologist and she was unaware of this so she called my Surgeon and he is out of the country in Greece and was not aware of my Surgery. He comes back to NY in October so whenever he comes back we will reschedule my surgery.
It is a pain as I just told work over a week ago then I had to tell them again it was rescheduled. But atleast it gives me a little more time to prepare and do more fun things before then. I feel less stressed now and can get things done at home.
I figured I would let you all know as well and soon as I know a new date I will update again.

That stinks! How did they not know about all that before your appointment last week.

@Courtlynn because my cardiologist is not the one that schedules the surgery. She gave all the info to the Pre-op department and some how they got it mixed up

I sure hope you dont have to go thru the prep again too.
How could he not know of your surgery? This sounds very inefficient to say the least.

@TiarasOceanView My Cardiologist gave his office all the information but I guess before he left they did not let him know about my surgery and instead scheduled me with the doctor he works for.
