Errand Day

I’m headed out to run some errands shortly. It’s a beautiful day but I do see some clouds. I haven’t checked the weather for today yet.
I need to go to the Post Office of course. I’m sending out a couple post cards but also a couple “Get Well” cards and then I check my P. O. Box to see if I have any new post cards. I usually do.
I will stop by the grocery store for a couple things and then I will pick up a caramel frappe at McDonald’s. YUM!
I don’t treat myself very often but I am craving a frappe today.
I thought about getting a pedicure but I think I will do it myself, next week before I head for the beach for a week. I’ll save the money and use it for eating out at the beach, which I love to do.

Well, we're even because Oregon is one of the 6 states that I have not been to, but would love to visit.
Did I tell you that I used to have a pen pal in Coos Bay, OR many years ago and I've always wanted to go to OR. I've been to northern California, but did not have the opportunity to cross the border into OR.

Sounds like a good plan for the day.
Having your nails done is one of the many small things women enjoy. Even when you do it yourself or in the salon.
The last time I have been to the beach was a year ago.

We have a time share condo at the beach and we always go down in October for a week. It's such a nice time to go. The crowds have all gone home but the weather is still very nice. USUALLY. So that's what we are hoping for.
With all these hurricanes who knows what the weather will be when its time for us to go to the beach.

I have been to Virginia Beach on the way to Florida. We took a scenic route down and stayed at a motel there. The restaurant we eat at had the best seafood. The next day we headed out to Petersburg to see the civil war sites.

Virginia Beach MIGHT get some wind and rain from the Hurricane headed our way, but most forecasters think it will go out to sea. No other hurricane is imminent, hopefully, when I go down there next month, it will be good weather.
