Cherish them!

If you have nurturing, faithful parents who were there for you growing up and into adulthood, make sure to cherish them. Let them know you love them and appreciate all they do. Spend as much time with them as possible. One day you may not have the luxury. Both of my parents are now disabled. I still get to see them regularly, but my mom has dementia and doesn't always know what is going on. She gets confused sometimes. She was always my biggest cheerleader. She still is when her mind is right. I miss the shopping, watching scary movies, sharing emotions, and ministering to others that we used to do together. Pictured is me, my mom, and my oldest daughter. I love them so much.

You three are lovely! Reminds me of my mom and my grand mom. Thanks for the reminder. I always wish to live near my parents so that I can spend more time with them, but its just sad that I can't. I am just able to visit them once every year, its fine with me, we get used to that, we just made sure that we spent quality time whenever we are together.

Thank you for sharing. I was feeling depressed because sometimes I only get to see my mom once a week. Most of the time I see her 3 times a week, but the last 2 weeks, it has only been once a week. I should county my blessings instead of feeling bad.
