It is not normal to get a call over 20 X a day! Robocalls from a debt collector can drive U NUTS and is illegal but if YOU DON'T TAKE ACTION, they will never stop calling.

“I’ll sue” is one of the best ways to get those calls to stop. I was getting a call a day (sometimes two) from a student loan collection company. I finally called them and told them that I never ever had a student loan because I went to college on a VA program, I was not who they claimed they were calling, I’d had the phone number since 1985, and I could prove all of this, so if they called me again I would get a lawyer. Haven’t heard from them since.

Well done, Four Walls. And this is as it should be. Those zombie debt collectors come a dime a dozen and nothing not even getting on the national do not call list, helps. Some people I know get several robot calls on their mobile phones on top of land line calls and calls at their office. This kind of thing is pure insanity. It has to put some kind of terrible stress on people to get these kinds of robo-calls.
