It's Yard Sale Day / myLot

Greetings fellow myLotters and Happy Saturday! What a gorgeous day here in my neck of the woods. It's sunny and warm but not too hot and humid. Our community is have a big group yard sale this weekend so I've been up early putting a few things out that I'm looking to get rid of. So far, traffic has been good and people are out in droves looking for bargains. My neighbors up the block all have young children so their driveways are filled with all sorts of toys, clothes and baby things. They seem to be getting a lot of people stopping by. I have a mix of things but if I don't sell it all I'm happy to pull it back into the garage and try again the next time we have our yard sale in the spring. Right now I came in for a drink and my daughter is manning the sale but I just had to sneak on here to say hello and let you know what's happening here today. Oh so much fun my friend..love sales like that!!! Nothing going on but fall is definitely here in CO at least in my area..the temps are down to 50 and 60 near the high 30s at night..I love it.

Lucky you having such lovely cool sleeping weather at night. It's still hot here which is unusual for this time of year and my a/c is still on. I'm sure I'm going to be crying when i see my electric bill this month

It's a warm and sunny days and there is the chestnut festival in the center of the village, we are going there.

@Marilynda1225 We liked, the smell of chestnuts roasted on the open fire is so good. I bought some to make at home and chestnut flour to make a cake.

I hope you sold most of your items, so that you won't have to store it all winter. I only had one tag sale in my life, and we made thousands of dollars. Perhaps this spring we can do another one. They are so much fun!

I'll be more prepared for the one we have in the spring but it was just too hot to drag much into the driveway. I did make a few sales which made me happy but probably could have made more if I had planned better

How is your sale going so far? I have clothes that I need to purge and am thinking of taking them up to hubby's aunt and uncle's place next weekend. The town they live in has a townwide tag sale and people come from all over to search for hidden treasures. Last year the clothing went fast. So, I hope that we can make a little cash from what we no longer need. Most of the items we brought last year didn't sell. They will get put out again this year.

Just a day at the PC. It was nice out today. Did my laundry and it already dried on the line. It is evening and I am finishing up here on the PC.

I miss the days when I dried my clothes on the line. We have no clothes lines here in our community so everything goes from the washer into the dryer.
