The Rapture didn't happen after all

For everyone who believes in the Holy Bible, we know that no one knows when Jesus will return and take his believers home with him AKA the Rapture.
But have you ever walked into church, expecting to see all your church folks, and there's NO ONE THERE. For a minute, you think, "Oh dear God, the Rapture happened and I MISSED IT!!!!!"
Then you realize you just came on the wrong day or time or whatever.
I know everyone has been having fun talking about the end of the world. But we don't have to worry about someone predicting the day it will happen. The Rapture of Christian believers will preceed the seven years of the Tribulation, then Christ will return to defeat Satan and all evil.
The important thing is not to know when the Rapture will take place, the important thing is to be ready to go.

@1creekgirl This is what I thought and this is why I was sure the end was not for this time.

@YrNemo The first two temples in Jerusalem were destroyed and the Holy Bible predicts that the third temple will have to be built on the original site (where the dome of the rock now stands which is a Muslim holy site), then Christ will return.

We have to remember that Jesus gave this warning and so it is also coming true. Matthew 24:11 Easy-to-Read Version 11 Many false prophets will come and cause many people to believe things that are wrong.

Yes, Jesus told us to beware of false prophets who say, "Look! He's over there!" because when Jesus returns, every eye will see Him and there won't be any doubt that it's him.

Meanwhile, all of these "date-setters" are giving believers a black eye with all this nonsense.....

That's true. But we just need to keep reminding people that the Bible says no one will know the day or time when Jesus will return.

It kind of takes away from the fact that Jesus really is coming back for his people one day without warning.

The world was supposed to end so many times in my lifetime alone, I don't even pay attention to that stuff anymore.

I don't listen to it either because no one knows when it will happen. But it will happen and I want to be ready.

Right, the important thing is to have faith in Christ so we will be ready, whenever it happens.

Oh more then once I have been in a hurry put on my clerical clothing, jumped in my car and rushed to church having nightmares about being late to start the service, and then realized that it was not Sunday. This has happened more then once. But on the plus side, I've never actually been late for a service.

The word Rapture isn't in the Bible, but Jesus talked about it is some of the Gospels and the Apostle Paul did in some of his writings also.
