Should be interesting to see what goes down (pun intended) with the NFL games today. President Cheeto von Tweeto had to interject himself into the whole "taking a knee" thing during the National Anthem being played before sports games. He called players who do this "sons of b!tches" and said they should be immediately fired. Well, what else would you expect from someone who doesn't respect or honor contracts? So today is the first day of NFL games after Cheeto's tirade. #TakeTheKnee is trending. I bet even MORE players will kneel during the National Anthem today. Even a major league baseball player did last night.

@amadeo That should be an interesting one because Patriots leaders players and management were clearly for Trump and that is their prerogative.Originally had nothing to do with Trump, but as usual Trump makes it about him and now kneeling seems to also be about Trump. So that will be interesting what Pats do as a organization.

@crossbones27 Kraft released a statement that was very clear that he supported the players and was not happy with Trump's involvement

Hmm, if I may ask, what's the purpose of that take the knee thing? NFL might be the biggest sports in the planet but you see, our country is more on basketball and boxing.

Several sports players have been kneeling during the national anthem in protest of various things. Trump said on Friday that they should be fired so now people are encouraging more players to kneel in protest.

Oh I see, isn't this disrespecting? Isn't it we should stand straight and sing out loud to our voice when we are singing the national anthem.

@ilocosboy That's what the whole debate is about. Some people are furious about it and others think that they are free to do what they want.
