Good morning all, have a great Monday! Through my years of working as a Nanny in many households there are different preferences on allot of things. One was butter/Margarine. Some employers left the butter out wanted it soft to easily spread. Others wanted it in the fridge because they thought it should be. Always was and always will be kind of thing. What do you do with your butter or margarine? Mine I refridgerate. Different strokes for different folks!

I always put my butter/margarine in the refrigerator after use. If I want it soft and easy to spread I just leave on the counter for a few minutes before spreading it on whatever, problem solved.

We leave ours out so it will be ready to spread on toast, etc.

its butter only at my house and I have a pottery Butter dish that fits the pound of butter and it has a lid. Our extra butter lives in the fridge.
