Fireworks in the middle of the day? Really?

Why in the name of all that is sane are my neighbors setting off firecrackers and Roman candles at 10 in the morning?!
I'd think that unsupervised kids were the culprit if it weren't school hours. I suppose it could still be unsupervised kids playing hooky while parents are at work. It sure is noisy and I hope they don't set anything on fire.

Yeah, it almost feels like "what's the point?" You can't see them nearly as well during the day... also why I think it was kids.

Ugh. Fireworks are illegal here, but for whatever reason we hear them going off at night every now and then. But wow, I haven't heard them in the morning like that. Yah, could be some teens or college age kids trying to occupy themselves by goofing off.
