Do you think recent movies about asteroids on a collision course with earth such as the TV drama series, Salvation, or the upcoming movie - Geostorm or the movie: The Circle, give us a look into a future that is possible, probable, or most likely to occur sometime in the not too distant future?
One such series I am following is called : The Path
It is based on the concept of a cult that uses methods to encourage group participation and separation from society and has negative consequences.
Another series I am following is called : Salvation
It is based on the probability of earth being on a direct path of a Near Earth Object
A new movie about to be out is GEOSTORM
This is about what global climate change might be like if things get out of control:

I can tell you right away that sudden life changes turns your outlook totally around. After I lost my husband in August I no longer care it we get smashed to bits or not. That is just me because I am going through a very bad period in my life now. It is the faith in the Lord that keeps me going on still.

I'm no scientist, but I think it's interesting how these kinds of movies depict these disasters. I don't know about accuracy, but for sure real life won't be scripted nor exaggerated . . . no one alive will get an academy award for surviving!

Well anything is possible, never say never is what I have always heard. I do enjoy these kinds of shows thou and read a lot of books like this. Makes one think on what can happen, or could happen. Will it happen? I dont know. Yeah I didnt really answer the question per say thou. I just think that anything is possible and with what is going on in the world who knows?
