Cruised to Bermuda

I am back from taking my cruise to Bermuda. I went to NYC and sailed on the Norwegian Breakaway to Bermuda. I was fortunate in that I had very good weather most of the time.
Bermuda is beautiful. it is also friendly and safe but expensive. If you live on the east coast of The United States, it is a hop, skip and jump to Bermuda.
Great place to vacation.

Last year, my parents, husband and I and my son & his best friend, sailed to Bermuda aboard the Norwegian Dawn. We sailed from Boston. It was a lovely week. We sailed the second week of July 2016.

I was born and raised in Boston. It was a terrible struggle deciding whether to sail from NYC or Boston.
Bermuda was nice. Wouldn't mind going back another time.
One couple on my cruise was sailing to Bermuda for the 9th time, taking the exact same ship.

I went to Bermuda several years ago..about this time of the year too. I wasn't crazy about it..it was very humid and the water was cold, and like you said..it is expensive.

And I loved it. Everyone is different. What works for one does not work for someone else.

so why did you not like Bermuda? Was it because of the humidity. I do not recall it being humid but I live in Central Texas and if you want to talk about humidity ...... I went to one beach, the man made beach on King's Wharf and the water was warm.

We were lucky. I sailed with Norwegian and they closely monitored the weather. If there was even the slightest possibility that we might have been affected by bad weather, they were prepared to take us to Canada instead. (even in our shorts and sleeveless tops)
