Backing Out Due to Long Queue

I was about to pay my Social Security System premium yesterday but I did not pay upon seeing a very long queue of people paying their premiums. It was a Monday, and we went late, instead of the usual 8 a.m. schedule as I did in the past months. Thinking that it will take me hours waiting, I went out of the building thinking that I can still pay up to Friday, September 29. I will go there before 8 a.m. to be sure there will be less people. Are you patient enough to be in such very long line of people?

Monday is a very busy day to all business entities. Even in banks, I don't ever transact on a Monday because there will be long lines aof people waiting for their turns. Good thing at BPI, you will just get your number and seat comfortably until your number is seen on the TV monitors. I would play my favorite game on my phone when that happens.

That was my mistake, I never thought it was a Monday, usually a very busy day in every public office.

@acelawrites Always remember not to go on banks and offices to pay or withdraw or deposit when it's Monday. Friday is also another busy days because those who have checking accounts are filling up their accounts with funds for their checks not to bounce. But I think in government offices they close their transactions early because some will be going home to their provinces where they live.

I have no enough patience why not just pay online?

I just wanted to be sure that my payment will go through, and because the office is near us.

I'm mostly patient when paying bills over the counter, but I've never paid in the Social Service office before.

It was my company who paid for it before (SSS), but when I resigned, I continued paying it on a voluntary basis so I can have a pension when I reached 120 payments.

There are times we are not so patient waiting on long lines like that if there is still a chance to go back to pay.

I don’t mind waiting as long as the AC’s are full. Lol. So hot outside, it was gloomy earlier. Unpredictable weather.

I was so hesitant to wait because my husband could not find a good parking lot outside the building, so I just backed out.

Personally I hate long lines, but the majority of the time, it never fails here when trying to go to our Social Security office for something. We have one of the busiest ones in this state. Most of the time I refuse to wait in long lines unless I have to really get something done and have no other choice.

It is true; there were times we can not do something but be patiently wait for our turn because there's no more options.

Usually I am patient, unless I have someplace else I need to be soon, then I plan another day. It was wise you have not waited until the last minute, but still have a couple of days to get it done.

Correct, I had all those things you said in mind: that I can go back and pay till Friday; and go there very early so there's no line yet.

It really depends on the situation. If it is important then I won't mind the long lines. If I can reschedule it and come back, I'll do just that.

It is good; but sometimes I can wait patiently too if I do not have other concerns.

So many of our countrymen are paying it; especially those who are employed and even some who are self-employed because it has good benefits once you finished paying 120 premiums; there are also other benefits aside from the pension.

Same here, sometimes we just want to wait, but at times there are so many things to do so we are in a hurry.
