He says, she says

Heather in August

He says, as he goes to the car "It is nasty out here this morning" because it is dark and damp and drizzly. She says, as she goes to the car to get something as well "It is nice out this morning. I wish I could just sit here and watch the daylight come." in the dark and damp and drizzly morning. It will be more light by the time I leave, and that will make a difference. Perspective can be everything. Meanwhile, I am enjoying hearing the birds wake up in the dark and damp and drizzly morning.

Yes...I too realized how perspectives can make same thing look good to one person and bad to another...and that made me wiser. I realized I can't always be correct, there has to be a middle path.

@topffer Well, he is older than I am, so I guess he is wiser. Plus he had to leave while it was still dark.

Not so much daylight anymore. I want to put my head under the covers and hibernate until May.

@celticeagle Does it help you to increase your lighting? Our classroom has a mini greenhouse and an LED grow light, and I am imagining it will help our kiddos.

Nice photo and the early mornings are what I used to really like more than any other part of the day as I had to go to work really early then.

You are right, and our perspective also pertains to our circumstances, like he has a much longer drive and starts when it is darker.

Perspective really does make a difference. Depending on the amount of drizzle (light drizzle, maybe a misting?), it can be nice to sit outside on the swing in the cool air.
