I'm Like a Wildflower

More like crazy wild busy and sheer pleasure. I've been popping by to catch up on notifications towards the end of the day, but exhaustion wins every time.
With our son's wedding a little over a week away, I have been extremely busy.
*Seating arrangements are done.
*Some items for the hospitality baskets have been purchased.
*The menu for the day after the wedding brunch has been chosen with care.
*I still have to let out of town guests and some in town friends know about the brunch.
In between I am walking, having lunches with friends, and even have my annual eye appointment scheduled for tomorrow.
Once this week is finalized, I have a week of beauty planned before the wedding and time to relax. I just wanted to let you know why you haven't seen much of me.
Btw, the seamstress did a magnificent job on my future daughter-in-law's bridal gown. It fits her perfectly! It's true that you get what you pay for.

Such an exciting time for you and glad that things are coming along. Wow can't believe that the wedding is a week away already. Enjoy your time and can't wait to hear all about the festivities when you finally have time to relax and unwind after the wedding.

With your busy week and upcoming busier one- I'm surprised you had time to walk in the woods---ha! But you rescued that poor flower for awhile anyway. You're doing wonderfully on your 'to-do' list.

@DianneN Any scent at all? I know something similar, but not with the yellow part in the middle. Beautiful smell, almost like jasmine. They call it weeds here. Big tree - and no one could control them from popping up everywhere. Just found its name, orange jasmine. I love it. We had one in the back but my husband hates it, so he removed it.

I'm singing the same song, too! You are right about the gown. She had four fittings. I only needed one.. At least hers will fit her properly on her wedding day and look great as every bride should. I can't wait to put my gown on. I love hers and mine!
