There is a New Celebrity in Town

In the town I work in Wethersfield.. There is a new celebrity- his name is Kevin
And he is one jive turkey.
No really, He's a turkey.
he's been around for like a year. but started getting famous
when he started hanging out in a busy intersection and walking in the streets and many times even using the crosswalk. He likes to chases trucks and cars. but his favorite is the mail truck. The first day I met him he circled my vehicle and when I was leaving he chased me down the street.
The Animal control officers, The police and even the DEEP (dept of energy and environmental protection) all tried to catch him (they wanted to relocate him again for his safety) Could not catch him..
Yes, the story is they did catch him once and he came back. he is a loner.
he doesn't have a family except for all of the Town who now love and worship him.
he has now been on the news on at least 3 or 4 occasions.
The good news is he has relocated himself to the quieter and very old historic and quaint section of town now and the police are no longer after him.
Oh and did I mention he has his own facebook page with over 3500 followers in the Group - It's call Fans of the Wethersfield Turkey.. and he has international as well as local fans! This is one of the photos I took of him last week and you can see more of his story on this news clip

I am glad that he found a safe place to live. Every town needs a famous animal of some kind and I think you have a great one. I can see him chasing you down the street. Sorry, but again you have made me laugh and I needed a good laugh today.
