I was on a hot seat.

I and my son went to the city proper at 4:30PM to buy something for the dogs. Usually, I would empty my bladder before I leave the house, but this afternoon, I didn’t because I had my bath and I voided before my bath. As soon as we rode on a tricycle, I felt the seat was a bit hot (maybe because the sidecar was directly under the sunlight). Bad thing, I thought, I might have difficulty in voiding, or dysuria (the medical term for difficulty in peeing). As soon as we arrived home at 6PM, I immediately went to the comfort room, emptied my bladder, and wet my lumbosacral area with cold water. This is my very first aid if I feel pain on urination. This was advised by my mother too, and I feel slight relief with this first aid suggestion from my mother. I cannot take a tablet of antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin because there should be a prescription when buying from a drugstore. I am just increasing my oral fluid intake so my kidneys will produce more urine and my bladder will have the urge to pee. If I pee in small quantities with accompanying pain, then I might have urinary tract infection. But my condition should be resolved tomorrow because tonight, I feel no more pain when peeing. Besides too, I have no increase in body temperature. (Fever is a sign of infection.)

Someone said to me (I don;t know if its true) that sitting on hot area is actually good for you because it kills the bacteria But for us Ilocano, we have the term "saripipiten" when you sit on a hot seat he he

@sol_cee Thank heavens, I am not a doctor. But according to wacopedea - - it is an area between the hips . . It must be a hot area!

lumbosacral is that area between our hips and our flanks, (lumbar and sacral). our spinal column consists of the bones named cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral bones.

@antonbunot that area should not be hot, but that is where i moisten when i feel 'sarsaripiten' or difficulty in peeing.

@ridingbet O, save your urine, kabsat. I think Benguet farmers are buying them to be used as fertilizer in their cabbage farms.

I had my physical check up last week. Our family doctor is a pretty lady in her 40's. I showered thoroughly coz I was again expecting that she would check my whole body including my prostate. This time I decided to trim hairs below my belly button all the way down under. . . She started checking my ears, nose, mouth, neck, midsection, going down . . down . . down. I loved it!

@ridingbet So far all body parts are in good condition . . . She fingered my butt . . . You are okay, she said. . . But am not fully convinced coz my protruding body part down under did not react at all . . . It used to - -

@antonbunot hahaha! maybe the doctor was plain-looking? maybe the nerves are sleeping that time, so there was no 'land of the morning, child of the sun returning'.

@RubyHawk no, i did not. besides, increasing my oral fluid intake did wonders. basically, water therapy is the best management for difficulty of peeing.

Sometimes what I do when I feel like this, is increase my intake of water. That helps Flush the system to where you feel better.
