You may or may not know that BBC lost the show Great British Bake Off show to Channel 4. As a result Mary Berry, Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc all left the show and only judge Paul Hollywood remained. Season 8 began a few weeks ago with new judge Prue Leith and Sandi Toksvig Noel Fielding as hosts. I must say that the show is still enjoyable but Sandi and Noel are no Sue and Mel and I really miss the ...Bakkke. So far the new crop of home cooks seems to be quite exceptionally good, either that or Paul is turning into a big old softie since he is giving out more handshakes than normal. I watch episodes on youTube so if you don't want to wait for PBS to get these episodes you can join me.

It is really very interesting to watch home cooks who have the level of baking skills that these contestants have.

I don't often watch those shows because I never seem to find the time. Guess lots of people will get upset.

@BelleStarr A few times, I saw a few similar shows, I thought it was interesting seeing how other people prepared and roasted chicken etc. They do have different tips there.
