How is work for you?

Hi all. Due to the fact that I have a pretty busy and stressful time at the office (at work), I was wondering if that is also the case for any of you here. As a side note, where I am currently working, it is not just me the one being unhappy, but most of the workers there are unhappy. How is your working environment? Is it calm and nice or agitated and frustrating?

I´m retired now. But when I worked, I was doing exactly what I wanted so I was very happy.

I'm also a retired teacher after 40 years 'of service'. It wasn't always easy on the nerves.

I understand why it would not be easy to be a teacher. It is hard to make children understand you or to make them behave. Some children, perhaps most children misbehave.

That is one reason you are always giving the newbies instructions to abide to here.

Doesn't sound like a good job. I got a early retirement back in about 2006. I had been diagnosed with severe depression with panic attacks. I wasn't working much anyway. I had been at that job for five years and now have a life long pension. Pretty good huh?

@Cristi_Ichim I had a situation of the same type while I was working for an Israel client almost 3 years back. I had seen terrible stress for almost 4 years but everyone never remained unhappy. I worked under pressure as well but would not say I was discontented or unhappy for all those days. May be u can look for a diff job or advance ur degree with a masters and could avail a superior role.

I eventually gave up working for that company and moved on with my life, Paras. Now I am with a different company and I got rid of the stress from back then.
