Ipad or not! That is a big???

OMG! What a day!
It was a bit stressful day. Our new sofa arrived and at the same time our old sofa was collected by our friend who brought his friend to carry this outside of our flat and brought this to a trash garbage far from home together with hubby
My hubby couldn't carry heavy things anymore because of his chronic backache so our teacher friend and his friend helped us. Before our friend went home, he left me his old reseted but still good Ipad. He has bought a new version of Ipad and so he offered me his old Ipad and I have to choose the price between 100 to 200€. For this money he will buy his painting materials like canvas and oil paints. I told him that I think about it. He allowed me though to get acquinted to the Ipad.
I don't really need this gadget because I have my 1 year old Samsung Tablet besides having a laptop and a home computer. But I am tempted because the Ipad has 120+GB. A huge storage for my writing and photography hobbies.
I have no idea about Ipad and so I called my Pinay best friend and she came over and showed me how to do it. My! What a techie brilliant friend I have. She thought me what to do and said I should only pay 100€ because for 200€ I could already buy a new one especially there will be plenty of sales coming this Christmas.
What do you think? Do you think I should buy this?
I think I will give my Tablet to my cousin when I go home to Pinas next year and buy this offered Ipad for myself.
Anyway, how was your day fellow Mylotters. Now I have to take care of my notifications. God bless!

Thelma, the price of a 120 GB memory extension for a tablet is around $ 100. If you are interested to have an iPad, I would say to offer $ 100, it's the same amount of money you would spend to add a storage to your tablet and you acquire an Apple iPad for a cheap price, so you can evaluate how much you like it. Go for it.

I like computers, but I do not like at all the tablets and the smartphones, even if I use them both.

I don't have an iPad but think it's great to have. The reason I didn't get one is because I have an iPhone and a laptop and will probably not use the iPad much. It isn't cheap, so unless I will use it all the time, there is no point in getting one.

Yes, it isn't cheap and with your IPhone you can do a lot @lovebuglena. I don't have an IPhone but I am contented with my smartphone. Thanks.

@thelme55 an iPhone is practically an iPad, just a much smaller size lol and you can call people from it. Not sure if you can make calls on an iPad, unless it's FaceTime.

Maybe your Pinay friend made a good advice. So buy it if you like it, then give away your tablet to your cousin back home. It's a good decision.

Thank you @acelawrites. I have decided already. I will buy the Ipad and give my Tablet to my good cousin. I don't tell her yet as she might not have a good night sleep

Better buy it, my friend, should there be a budget for that to avoid heartaches on your friend's side. She might need the money so badly, and yes, don't buy it at 200 euro for that is a second hand. Things like that depreciate, so ask for some discount.Take care.

If you are familiar with the way to use this I-pad, it would probably be a very good investment. Yes, maybe you should get it, for your own personal use. I had a good day, that started out in a low mood. Now, I feel better than before.

There will be a lot of sales this Christmas but Christmas is the most expensive month of the year for us because of the gifts. I will buy the Ipad as it is still good and affordable. If I will wait for the Christmas sales I might change my mind and not buy one @JustBhem

I don't know because I haven't really use an ipad. I have seen one, it's up to you whether you want to buy one or not. If you think it's useful then it's no problem buying it. But then if there are other things to buy worth 100$ then maybe it's not practical to buy it.

I didn't really want it in the first place because I have my tablet but the huge storage of the Ipad got me and now I will buy it .
