Nah Ah Don't Dare Me!

selfie of me, no make up

Nah ah, don't dare me! A friend of mine (he is 27 years old) said that women after a certain age (he was so aiming that at 40 year old me) were too vain to go out without make up or to post photos without make up, really, really? So I thought I would share a photo of myself without make up! Yes, the light hits my face at a certain angle but still not a scrap of make up, just sun block and clear lip balm. So, bully for him! Photo posted! Ladies, remember, we are all beautiful, if you don't feel like wearing make up, put on some sun block, clear lip balm and then go be your fabulous self! Would you go out without wearing make up? And men, what do you think, do you think a woman looks more beautiful with make up on or without? Be honest! Photo is a selfie of me sans make up!

You look beautiful without any make up. Whenever I go out for work I usually put on light make up. But I never mind putting on only lip balm when having video call with my boyfriend. He also never complains with it.

Thanks :) . Light make up for work is good it can add to professionalism, and I also used to wear light make up. You have a boyfriend who knows how beautiful you are and appreciates you :)

@bluesa Yes, for me, it is the legs. Always got comments on the "great legs." I flaunt the "great legs," even at my age. Might as well!!!

@Corbin5 you're so lucky! They called my legs "when they" legs for "when they gonna break" because I was tall and skinny, so they said my legs were stick thin! Now I am no longer skinny but my legs still have knobby knees...sigh...enjoy your great legs! And definitely flaunt 'em!

@bluesa I think that many women would look nicer with less makeup. Too much make us look older.

The pic is beautiful. I feel the same. We all are beautiful at every possible time, age or moment. It is just the perception that matters.

Thank you so much, Felix. I think make up can enhance every woman. And sometimes if a woman has bad acne or so it can be a great help.

@bluesa There is a practical and aesthetic use for make-up but you don't need it.

simplicity is beauty. i do not like to see ladies having hard make-up, it disguises their natural beauty. i only apply baby powder, lipstick, and eyebrow and little of eye shadow because i really look pale.

@bluesa yes i do wear little make-up but just to color my pale face. i actually encourage my student nurses to don some lipstick so they won't look like patients. not the very red color, but just to make their faces alive and healthy.

You look great without makeup. No matter my age I could never post a photo without makeup on I hate the way I look. My skin has red patches and I still get acne. I could go without eyeshadow and mascara etc but not without foundation.

@bluesa There is no feature I find beautiful in my face but oh well I've learned to just accept it as my looks arent going to change. Over the years I just get more wrinkles.

I am much older then that and I never wear make up. On occasion I will wear mascara and lip stuck or lip gloss but that is the limit to my make up. Most time though I wear none at all and feel confident in how I look. I think you look beautiful without makeup. I do know many women who would not go out without makeup and many of them are under the age of 40.

You look beautiful there Catherine. He is a cheeky little so and so I hope you put him in his place. I would imagine that when you do wear make up you look even more stunning as long as you don't wear it like Lynn Yaeger who looks positively freaky! I only came across her yesterday because she commented on how Mrs Trump looks. Give me Mrs Trump any day of the week. Shame she does not apply her criticism to her self.

Thank you, Gary. Most young men these days are cheeky, sadly. I told him politely that he is talking nonsense and can't say all women will not go out without make up, I mean, really now. I think Mrs Trump is beautiful, it is not fair she is such a beauty and I think Lynn is mightily jealous.

All women are beautiful, just some are more beautiful than others. I think I have said this before, but your skin appears flawless and you look great for forty. Or was it forty four? At least as good as your sister anyway.
