Doesn't Get Much Sweeter Than That!

. The University of Iowa Children's Hospital is in a really good spot for the kids who are patients in that hospital. The hospital is located across the street from the University of Iowa football stadium. The young patients and their families can watch the University of Iowa's Hawkeye football team do their thing on the football field just by looking through the windows of the hospital. A new tradition is in place, thanks to the Hawkeye football fans in the stands of the university's Kinnick Stadium. The fans, thousands of them, turn toward the University of Iowa Children's Hospital and wave to the kids, and their families, who are watching through the hospital windows on the top floor. Doesn't get much sweeter than that!!!

What a wonderful thing for the fans to do! Our grandson had back surgery when he was three at the Children's Hospital at Chapel Hill, NC. He was there on the 4th of July, so we enjoyed watching the fireworks outside the windows on the 3rd floor.
