How do you make your Sunday a funday?

For me, Sunday is a day of rest. Resting on bed all day long is my way to make my Sunday a funday. Lol.
But some of my friends and neighbors always spend their Sundays by going out somewhere or doing something fun. Anyway, that's the way they make their Sundays a funday.
How do you make your Sunday a funday?

I like to sleep in on a Sunday. As I'm always busy and up early the rest of the week, it's the one day I can do that! For half the year, my youngest son has rehearsals for the local Gang Show with his Scout group on Sunday afternoons while my older son and I might spend the time playing games (yesterday, we played chess, Scrabble, and Boggle). Sometimes, I don't get a lie in, though, as we might visit family on a Sunday morning.

@A_loves_B My partner always makes sure I have a rest on a Sunday if we have no plans! He knows I work hard and need a break.

Sunday is really a family day for us. But it doesn't mean we have to go out and have fun somewhere. It does happen but not all the time. Usually, it's my rest day but I do the cooking mostly. Watching movies with the kids also makes our Sunday a funday.

A great part of my week (including weekends) is gardening, receiving visitors and going out (ocoal life. Did I mention mylot? I get up and go to sleep with it.

Its always been a tiring Sunday for me because I got so many things to do in the house. 6 days a week I'm at work and I was supposed to rest at Sunday but no, many things is waiting for me at home.

Sunday is family day for us. We cook and eat together as one family together with my siblings and their kids and my parents. Sometimes we do tag along our cousins too and their kids as well.

I always seem to want to go places on Sundays that aren't open. So I end up cranky. Your post has me trying to think of a new way to spend my Sunday. When I was with my ex, it was always a day of rest. But it is the only day that all five of us that live in my house are off work, I find myself wanting to do something as a group. Unfortunately, we rarely all play nice together. But that is another story... Maybe our fellow mylotters have a suggestion for me for tomorrow.... Two Men, Three Women. They are all pretty much family, I've only been a part of the group for the last 6 months or so, though two of them have been in my life for longer. Another day for that one also....

Ya, some places aren't open on Sundays. And that we can't go there, do not know what fun activities to do together as group, it's not fun at all. I don't know what fun activities to suggest you to do as a group. I used to stay alone, eventhough sometimes my mom comes to stay with me for several days. I hope the other myLot friends here can give you some suggestions for you to have fun with your group tomorrow.

Considering the dynamic of the group right now, I think that's gonna be a bust. There's really only one person in the group I care to spend time with anyhow. But that's a story for another day...

On sundays after lunch I go for a movie, after that go to beach , then for shopping , then go to ice cream parlour and enjoy my favorite chocolate ice cream , then return home and spend time with family...
