Hello October!

I'm always happy on the first day of October. Why you might ask?
I'm happy because it's the day my first daughter was born making me a mom for the first time. Although going through the actual birthing wasn't exactly fun every moment since has been a blessing.
It's hard to believe how fast the years have flown by and now my daughter is my best friend. We have common interests and love to spend time together. That's the one thing I didn't have with my own mom...we didn't share many common interests and were pretty much polar opposites on most things.
My youngest daughter and I will be going over to the birthday girls house for dinner and I'm really looking forward to getting out of the house. I've been stuck here for a week already with my bad back and am dying to see the outside world.
Not much else going on here today. The sun is shining and it's still on the cool side.

@Marilynda1225 It's becoming a stress, in my mind I say "I have all the month to do my things" and soon after the month is finished.

Time seems to go by faster and faster all the time. I'm getting to a point where I'm afraid to blink and I'll miss a month LOL

My only child, my son who is now 35 bday is in October too.
I am having some peace right now is what I am doing.

This day, I´m going to go and look for sdome things that I need, such as notebook, pen and pencil, also a backpack, then return home early

Happy Birthday to your daughter, and enjoy the memories of when she made you a Mom.
You're lucky that you have that closeness with your daughter, I didn't have it with my mother and I don't have any sisters.........
We were up really early this morning, went to church and then had brunch, I've even done a load of wash and enjoyed a nice walk. Its almost football time, so I'll be able to get a short little cat nap before thinking about what to make for supper.

I didn't have that closeness with my mom either and I don't have any sisters. I'm so happy to have such a wonderful relationship with all my daughters and now I have company since my youngest moved back in with me. The middle sister lives an hour away so I don't see her as often .Sounds like you had a good day

@Marilynda1225 Yes it is...Sunday we had our first viewing....it was a bit disappointing.....first impressions are very influential
Monday morning we went back for a second look. some questions were answered....some "problems" turned out to not be problems....just cosmetic fixes needed. Now hubby and I need to sit down and figure out exactly how we will proceed..

I haven't had much time to watch Glee and am only on the second season but I do like Chicago PD and made sure I saw this weeks.
