The 1st day of October

Hope you are all enjoying your 1st day of October. I got a lot done today so now I am myLotting and relaxing a bit until it's time to eat. The pork roast is in the oven along with some roasted potatoes, turnips and Brussel sprouts. It smells so good in here.
I went for a long walk earlier this morning and it was some chilly. There was a thick frost on everything this morning. I will head out for my evening walk after dinner. I had a pretty good weekend. Sad to see it coming to an end.

Your dinner sounds good not sure what we are having for dinner yet. Today just did a load of laundry and sat around.

My weekend was nice and relaxing, and today I slept for over an hour this afternoon.
That's not like me, but I think with the weather change it brings it on as I find it easier to sleep when its cool.
Back to work tomorrow, next weekend is the long weekend-woohoo!

actually it has been a bit sad till today later. haven't hardly seen much of daughter till tomorrow but at least my friend brought her dog over to stay a while

October was always my favorite month when I lived up north. Living in Florida it isn't quite the same. It's raining here today and kind of bored. Wow, your dinner sounds good, love turnips, haven't had them in forever.
