Starting to feel like fall

The weather is starting to cool down in my area. For the past week, the temps have been in the 70s. I know it may still seem like warm weather, but to me it's a big difference than the 90 degrees and humidity I've been used to. I've noticed that when I go outside during the evening, the air is a little crisp and the cool weather makes it feel like fall.
As someone who prefers cold weather over warm, I welcome this change. I hope this weather continues and the temps don't rise up again. But in the meantime I'm going to enjoy the cooler weather and count down the days til I can start wearing my jogging pants and start drinking hot chocolate.

I'm glad it's starting to feel like Fall for you! Fall is my favorite season of the year, so it's nice to hear the weather is changing for many. But here in Florida, it still feels like...Florida! Which is to say hot and humid, like it always feels here!
We know that the Fall season is upon us when we start to see all the changing colors...the changing colors of all the license plates on our highways! haha

@LadyDuck Yesterday was so cool here and when I got dressed in the morning my husband laughed at me as I had a pair of fleece pants on and a shirt and fleece jacket. I loved it as I always loved wearing those clothes in Pennsylvania. Yesterday I felt like I was still up north.

The weather cooled and we got rain to help with the many forest fires and smoke in western Oregon. We were not quite at 70 today, but it was sunny and very nice.

It was hardly hot in the summer. So not a big weather difference here. Though just over a week ago it was near 80 again for a week. Its now in the 50s to 60s. Right now 48 at 10pm.

Yes, it has definitely cooled down. A couple of weeks ago it was in the upper 80s and lower 90s then suddenly we got a cold rain and its been rainy and cold ever since. Fall is here. The leaves are turning and there's a possibility of a frost in a week or so. I keep thinking it's early, but our average frost is mid October, so I guess we're on schedule

@peavey It sounds like you're on schedule. With our area, it still remains warmer in the fall then it cools down.

It's cooler today but it's going back to the 80's this week. I can't wait for the cooler weather, I'm ready!

I am down in Florida and it has been so hot here I can't stand it. Today is the first day in the 70's and I love it to. Of course it is raining so I cannot go out and garden in some cool temperatures but I will take this. I am from the northeast and really miss my very cold winters and lots of snow.
Last year I got so depressed as my kids and grandsons were up there in the cold. In the middle of decorating the Christmas tree, I stopped and decided to fly up for the holidays to see everyone. It was so great as they had 2 snow storms there. I love wearing winter clothes.

@dramagirl26 Lately it is so hot down here in Melbourne, Florida. I am still planting things when I can stay out there. I won't go out if it is to hot. I hate it.
