A Lovely Sunday

I hope everyone has had a lovely Sunday, I surely did. We went to church this morning at 9 a.m. Two of my children with their families were there which is always nice. In the afternoon we met some friends for an early dinner. It was wonderful, the food was good and the conversation even better, we sat and talked for several hours. It was just about a perfect day and the weather was so beautiful that we dined out on the restaurant patio.

I am glad you had a relaxing day today. Is Wednesday the day? I will be praying for you, Al has his urodynamic tomorrow morning at 8:30 am I will be glad when that is over.

@Juliaacv The Urodynamic wasn't as bad as anticipated and I am praying that the same will prove true for you. But just in case, I always say to myself this too shall pass and soon it will be Friday and all of this will be behind you. I am praying very hard!!

@BelleStarr No, its on the 5th, which is on Thursday. After I looked up the details online, I cried, and then I decided that I just have to put it out of my mind and not think about it until Thursday. I cannot prepare myself and be strong when I'm scared like that. I appreciate your prayers, I'm praying for strength.

@BelleStarr Yes, a perfect fall day, before it gets too cold! My husband is making reservations right now with Jet Blue. I've procrastinated, because I'm going to miss the kids, grandkids, and Doodles too much.

@BelleStarr - I had a wonderful Sunday. I went horseback riding at dawn, called my 89 year old father and had a nice chat with him, and then had one of my daughters and two of my grandkids over for blueberry pancakes. We sometimes go to church on Sundays, but skipped today.

Definitely sounds like a great day.
Hours of dinner and talk? Wow. Most we've stayed at a resturant is 45minutes.
My sunday was good.

This is a lovely local restaurant with a large outdoor patio and no one made us feel as if we needed to leave so we didn't.

I often go shopping on Sunday but not for groceries, the stores here are very crowded on Sunday.
