A Bad Feeling

Today in the morning I saw the fried rice in our fridge got rotten, two people can eat this and it was cooked yesterday morning, we often stored extra fried rice and ate later! Last night our fridge's power was off ignorantly and the result the rice rotten. Our country is poor here many people survive without food! For me its a very bad feeling that we wasted food when many people stay hungry. Its a guilty feeling too. I took the rotten rice and give it to the crows in the roof! I wish not to waste foods!

I am sorry that you had an energy failure. If this is usual and your climate is hot, you will have to learn to cook less food. I had tyo do that when my daughters left home.

i don't like it when food is wasted, too. but, yes, it will happen if the power is off, like during a brownout. i'm glad you fed it to the crows and didn't just throw it away.

But, if you ate that rice, you'd be sick. So, feeding it to the crows was a good decision:)

I also do not like to see wasted food because indeed many people are starving.

I do the same if something goes rotten, I give to the crows or to the feral cats.
