we don't have any here any more.. there is talk about one being built again but so far it is just talk..i read an article about them the other day.. the first one was in Camdem New Jersey in 1933, it cost you 25 cent for your car and 25 cents per person, if you had 4 or more person it was just $1 for all.. we use to enjoy the drive in a lot, maybe didn't see to much of the movie but always had a good time///////////

They have never been popular in Europe, I have never seen one.

@hostessman I know, because you have a lot of space. Europe is crowded, the land is expensive, it did not bring enough money a drive-in-movie to cover the price of the land to build one.

No drive-in movies here but I do remember going with my parents when we were kids. It was awesome to see a movie while sitting in the car. Kids these days are missing out on so much fun

No the one closed that was new and in place for a few years. I was not fond of the drive in movies, I think all of the fun you were talking about happened before my time.

Drive ins are extinct here in the LA area. There might still be a few serving as swap meet sites.

It has been a long time since I have seen a drive in theater. I am not sure if there is any left in the United States.
