Going to myLot from my iPhone today caused problems

Today I decided to check up on myLot from my iPhone. I went to the website and entered my username, but before I had a chance to enter my password, a page appeared telling me my phone has a virus. Don't remember the exact wording though, but that page was weird. I pressed the back button, thinking that would reload myLot and get rid of that page telling me my phone has a virus, but that didn't work. So, I closed the page and cleared my history. Then I opened up a new page, went to myLot, and tried to log in again. In the process of entering my login information, the page telling me I have a virus didn't appear, but I got redirected to a number of other pages. I don't remember what they were but clearly nothing good. So, I closed the pages, cleared the history again, and exited Safari. After that, I finally decided to update to the latest iOS. I was wondering if the installation would be successful and thankfully it was. Now that I had a new iOS, it was time to go to Safari and test it out. I went to google.com and all was okay. Then I decided to try to go to HubPages and log in. I was able to do it successfully. No redirects to other pages. No pages popping up telling me I have a virus. My next thought was to go back to myLot and try to log in again, but I never did it. I am hesitant to do it. What if that window will appear again telling me I have a virus? Or what if I get redirected to other sites? I never had something like this happen to me when going to myLot, or any other site for that matter, from my iPhone. I am not sure what to do. The phone seems to be working fine. And I was able to go to google.com and HubPages with no issues. Maybe I should try going to other sites I regularly visit and see what will happen. But what about myLot? Still, can't bring myself to go back for fear that those pages will appear again.

It must be some form of a malware. I think you should use an adblocker if the problem persists.

This happened on my iPhone. Is there an adblocker for that?

Usually that's what I do as well. But sometimes when I don't feel like going on my laptop or I am not home, I go to mylot from my phone. Never had this happen to be until today.

Really? I hope that wasn't the case with me. So far there have been no redirects or pages popping up as happened before I updated to the new iOS.

I usually go to myLot from my laptop. There are times though when I want to check in on my notifications or even post something but am not home, so the only option is to get on the site through my phone.
