Four weeks til Halloween!

You heard, or well.. read, right. There are exactly four weeks today, til Halloween! Are you excited?? I'm excited! . Especially since my mom and I bought eeyore, and colored zebra onesie pjs to wear while giving out candy. (Plus for the rest of fall and winter). But even more excited because my brother usually works Halloween day, so my mom leaves me doing the candy while she goes after him. Then we order pizza for dinner while still giving out candy, and watching horror movies. But this year, he's taking Halloween off and going back to New York, to his friends, to go trick or treating with them. So we won't have go after him, or watch horror movies we don't care for . And we'll get the pizza all to ourselves . - Are you giving out candy this year? If so, will you dress up? - What are your kids being this year? If no kids, will you be doing anything? Like watching horror movies all day / night?

I do not give out candy because of the poison scare a few years ago. I give out small toys which all the kids get excited over.

toys are a great idea and certainly last longer than candy

Lol! Aw that sounds fun! I'm happy bro is doing something else so you guys can 1) have more pizza and 2) don't have to watch horror movies that you don't like. I'm in an apartment, no kids here really, so I won't give candy. I will likely watch scary movies leading up to and after the day and go out to bars, etc.

We enjoy Halloween, very much. My husband and I look forward to all of the tricks-or-treat kids, to view how they dressed up. When babies and their parents stop by, we sometimes invite them in for a minute!

Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year! I usually dress up every year, but so far I haven't figured out what I want to be. Really need to plan and coordinate with the gf. The kids aren't really interested in dressing up this year since Halloween is on a Tuesday. They usually get more into it when the holiday falls on a weekend. We are planning on decorating the front yard this year, so that will be a fun activity.

@Courtlynn I think maybe I'll just buy a white t-shirt and write "Life" on it, and then walk around and hand out lemons.

I'm looking forward to Halloween as my grandchildren come to my house and go trick or treating here. We usually have an early dinner since trick or treating is only allowed during the hours of 6pm to 8pm in our town. Your onsie pjs sound so cute and I'm sure the trick or treaters enjoy seeing you all dressed up.

For the last two halloweens we've had a 8pm curfew, but no start time. You go when you go, daylight or dark. Never had a curfew before two 2 halloweens ago. We use to go. Til 11 when i was growing up.

I will have a bag of candy to hand out to anyone that drops by. We are going out this year to bring Little Miss out for trick or treating. We will only go to family and friends though. We still have to get her a costume. Not many to choose from though.

We love watching the AMC Fear Fest marathons and DVDs. :D We always give out candy, but eventually stop to take the kids here around. I'm either dressing as a cat or Where's Waldo. It depends on my money because I already have the cat costume, but would need to get pants, and the Waldo shirt/hat is only $15.

I don't buy candy for trick-or-treaters because I never get any. But I do usually buy candy for myself and my boyfriend to enjoy. Though, since Halloween falls on a Tuesday this year, that means he will be working his second evening job, as that's the night he works (in addition to his full-time day job.) Which means we won't really be able to do anything to celebrate. We will probably at least watch a horror movie when he gets off work, though.

You can always enjoy the day/night yourself. Making halloween treats for when he comes home, and watching horror movies yourself

@Courtlynn My sister will probably be coming over that day, since it's a Tuesday. But I will probably do something to celebrate, either with her or by myself once she leaves.
