Do You Know How To Whistle?

When I was a kid, maybe age 7, I tried to learn how to whistle. We were living in the remote village in Bicol region and when I riding at the back of the carabao I tried to learn how to whistle. At that time only few of the kids know how to whistle and they always tease us because we don't know how to whistle. So while tending the carabao I try to taught myself to whistle by extending my lips longer. So now, I know how to whistle, both inhaling and exhaling. I can make melody of the songs while whistling. How about you, do you know how to whistle?

I remember when I was young there was a belief that girls are not supposed to whistle. Whenever I whistled and my parents heard it they could scorn me. Whistling was not for girls.

Yes, I can whistle. But only with my lips. As a child, I tried to learn to produce really loud whistles by putting fingers in my mouth but didn't succeed. The net is full of tutorials!
I show you how to do a loud whistle using your fingers. No more screaming at the top of your lungs at those concerts or when trying to get someone's attentio...

I forgot to include but I also learned whistling putting my fingers in my mouth (just like that in the youtube video, though this one is the hardest for me). When we were young this is form of communication with fellow kids to call their attention.

he he, maybe if you try harder it can be in stereo, then another method would be in dolby surround until you can whistle like the orchestra.

It also took me long time to learn the different way of whistling. During those times (we are kids), this is one way of our playtime, no xbox, no android games, no lego and only running in the sides of the mountain and swimming and the river and whistle is one big important way of calling the attention of fellow kids.
