New Television Season / myLot

We are already seeing signs of some shows that are looking like a second season will occur and one of them was a surprise to many people and another was expected. I'm glad that the new show I added is getting a full season, as the ratings have been good. I added The Good Doctor with Freddie Highmore and Richard Schiff. Freddie played Norman Bates on The Bates Motel and really plays the role of a doctor well, as his character has saved lives. The other show that has a full season is Young Sheldon and if your a fan of The Big Bang Theory, then you probably have already tuned into the show. What new show have you watched this season?

I am now watching Star Trek Discovery which is good so far and The Orville which is hilarious. Inhumans premier was hard to get through but I'll watch another episode to give it a chance. 9JKL features an actor I like, Mark Feuerstein, who had a great show called Royal Pains. His new show is pretty awful, imo. Too bad, because I really like him. I'm also watching Kevin Probably Saves the World and a couple of others I forget. Never got into the Big Bang Theory or its latest spinoff and I'm so sick and tired of seeing shows about people with disabilities or social awkwardness. What's the matter with just enjoying a show and laughing or being otherwise entertained? I guess I'm just really tired of social messages.

I did watch the first episode of Kevin Probably Saves The World, as enjoy seeing John Ritter's son. I had 9JKL on my list, but so many people have told me to skip it. I loved Royal Pains and really miss the show.

@dragon54u This is a shame about the new show, as like Linda Lavin and Elliot Gould. Royal Pains had one of the best endings I have ever watched and I watch a lot of television. My television room has Royal Pains items including a book, frisbie and Bobble Heads of the two actors.

@Fishmomma But didn't you love how they wrapped up Royal Pains? Shows so rarely give the viewers closure and I thought that was very thoughtful of them. His new show is so totally over the top and tries too hard to be funny that it's not funny at all. Linda Lavin and Elliott Gould play his parents and they really deserve a better show, they play well as a couple.

No new show for me. Watch the same shows every year, until they cancel them.

I have less new shows on my list, then previous seasons. There many returning shows that I have already started watching this season including This Is Us.

I have Young Sheldon on my DVR, and I intend to watch it before the next episode, which I think is in November? I also watched Wisdom of the Crowd, which I did not expect to like. I mean Jeremy Piven isn't must see TV. But the concept is fascinating, and although some plots are a little thin, it's actually quite gripping at times. I have also enjoyed Ghosted on FOX. It's weird, and out there, and although not always laugh out loud funny I can not help but be amused.
