Around The World Wednesday

I began my work day around 1 pm but this is normal for me to work second shift for the rental business. I always start with any calls I can make and then I take off into town.
I got the house payment that was due yesterday and did the bank thing, then I looked at new heaters at a different place, I would save $50 if I give up the mom and pop store, I save $100 by NOT buying at Lowe`s. Next week I will by this heater and save the money.
I went to the brick place in the next town up, 40 more miles away only to find out they are closed today and Thursday for inventory, but the owner failed to tell me this on Monday. I called the brick mason tonight, to go ahead and just give me the estimate, we will make it work. I have been dealing with this for a month.
For the greenhouse I only was able to get the plastic at walmart, no more pipe tonight. I think I will take off tomorrow and only do business by phone.
This old gal is tired.

@andriaperry At least with the way we travel we can stop whenever we feel like it. It's not quite the same with most jobs.

I don`t know. you travel and that is tiring also. But I would rather travel than work here.

As always, you had a busy day and did a lot! I visited a few neighbors and did a few errands and then relaxed and watched a few movies and tv shows. I enjoy watching The Big Bang Theory and The Orville.

Just crawled out of bed, one of the perks of semi-retirement. I have some online listings to do after I take a walk and the rest of the day is whatever I feel like doing. Do take a rest and enjoy it.

@andriaperry Well after 10 hours of sleep I would certainly be energetic, but I never get that much - I like staying up late.

I slept 10 hours, I am up and ready for today.
Today I am taking off from working (earning my living) and working here on the homestead, but here its nicer and more relaxing to work.

Sounds like you were busy again today.
My day was tiring. I had an appointment first thing in the morning, then spent the rest of the day doing laundry and dealing with my family. Then had to run to Walmart in the evening to get a few things. I didn't get home until around 9:30 p.m.

I know those days all to well, next week I have to do one days work driving Tony in for tests and a Dr. visit. Yes it will be one of those all day deals too.

Some days we get a lot done, others not so much.
My day? We started with a 4 mile walk...hung out a load of laundry...then showered and got ready to go visit my dad in the hospital...a quick coffee with my hubby.
After the hospital I went to pay some of my dads bills...picked up a printer cartridge...got my groceries...stopped at the library....raced home to get my dry laundry in, phew....just before the rain fell!
Folded laundry, cleaned some windows, made supper and did the dishes...now I'm mylotting for a few minutes.
