So what do you homeschoolers do for field trips during the month of October? We love haunted trails and pumpkin patches. I like unique activities as well. One year we went to Oak Mountain Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. They did re-enactments of the founding of Birmingham. It was like the founders had come back from the grave to tell us their history. Parents and children loved it.
